The Set and Turn Single web site contains listings of all the dance events that we know about. We list dances in the "English" tradition which includes English country dance, "Playford" style dances, contra dances and ceilidhs. See the frequently asked questions pages for more information about what type of events we list.
To search for an event click the What's on button in the menu and and then chose Search from the calendar page
Tell Us About Your Event
There are two ways to get your event listed on the Set and Turn Single website.
If you're a registered user you can log-in and enter the details yourself.
If you're not registered then send us your information using the forms below.
Fill in the form and click "Send to STS".

S&TS Issue 81 is now available.
Register on the site
If you organise regular dance events, you can register to enter them directly on the S&TS website. We are now able to accept a few more users. If you're interested contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
If you're not registered you can still tell us about your event using the online form.
The 2013 edition of the S&TS Directory was sent out with the January mailing.
The Small Print
The old S&TS web site was hosted in the UK by a German company. This new Set and Turn Single web site is hosted by a company based in the United States.
You should be aware that the personal data is hosted on servers outside the jurisdiction of the UK and the European Union and that sometimes the data protection laws of the US and European countries conflict.
